Scott Speranza

Chief Executive Officer

HealthLock CEO Scott Speranza is a visionary entrepreneur with more than 25 years of success in software analytics, health management solutions and health insurance and claims auditing. Under his leadership, HealthLock has emerged as a cutting-edge disrupter in healthcare billing and fraud protection.

Scott drives HealthLock’s vision and brokers its growing portfolio of strategic partnerships with large, multi-national financial institutions, employer groups and benefits providers. These partnerships allow HealthLock to offer unique solutions that enhance patient healthcare data privacy and financial security. Also the Chairman and CEO of HealthLock’s parent company inAssist, Scott has led both companies to audit over half a billion dollars in medical claims and saved members more than $230 million over the past decade through innovative technology and monitoring.

In his previous leadership roles, Scott supported companies like Nike and Intel with his expertise in software analytics and business intelligence. He built an impressive track record of driving growth and success as Executive Vice President at Fiberlink Software (now IBM’s MaaS360), Regional Vice President at SAP/BusinessObjects, Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Area Manager at RSA (the Security Division of EMC). Scott also has a strong background in entrepreneurship as an early investor in LifeLock, an identity theft software company. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Westmont College in California.

A sought-after speaker, Scott has given many seminars on leveraging medical bill auditing to lower costs for employer groups. He’s also presented on the topic of turning patient advocacy upside down by incorporating claims monitoring solutions like inAssist and HealthLock, which empower individuals to take control of their healthcare. Outside of his professional endeavors, Scott actively contributes to various community and philanthropic initiatives, previously serving on the board of Sharefest in Los Angeles. In his personal life, Scott is a sports enthusiast who plays baseball, football and golf. He also takes a keen interest in politics and current events.

David Burzynski

Chief Marketing Officer/Chief Customer Officer

Serving as HealthLock’s Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer, David Burzynski is a seasoned marketer, business development strategist and passionate customer advocate with three decades of experience driving exponential growth within tech-focused, high-stakes industries. He oversees customer innovation, lead generation and brand development with a mission to give millions of people nationwide improved access to healthcare privacy, control and savings.

Prior to HealthLock, David held key leadership positions across diverse industries that helped shape his approach to reinventing the customer experience in alignment with consumer demand and technological advancements. Most recently, he was Director of Marketing and Customer Engagement at Arizona Public Service, managing $1.1 billion in revenue and achieving remarkable customer contact containment. He also served as Director of Digital Media at Cable One, where he catapulted website sales conversion rates and online sales contributions, and as Director of Online Marketing and an early employee at LifeLock, playing a pivotal role in the company’s 1600% growth over 18 months and reducing cost per acquisition.

Additionally, David served as Product Marketing Manager at Avnet Technology Solutions, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Hitplay Media, Director of International Business Development at Engage Media/Adsmart and Regional Marketing Manager at British Airways.

A sought-after marketing authority, David’s passion for innovation and creating meaningful change extends beyond the boardroom. He’s spoken at multiple digital communication conferences and panels, including Customer Service Week, and he’s regularly called upon by the media to share his expertise. Additionally, David is active in his community, most recently serving on the board of Wildfire, a charity in Phoenix that provides emergency billing funds.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Chaminade University of Honolulu. For David, working at HealthLock is not just a job; it’s a soul-feeding mission. Jeanine Nugent

Chief Operating Officer

Jeanine Nugent is a seasoned organizational leader with nearly three decades of experience across healthcare, technology, automotive and manufacturing industries. As HealthLock’s Chief Operating Officer, Jeanine brings her extensive knowledge in strategic planning, information technology and operations to guide the company’s product execution strategy and daily operations. She also serves as COO for HealthLock’s parent company, inAssist.

Leveraging her robust background with enterprise-wide software application development and customer experience planning, Jeanine expertly combines technical know-how with business dynamics to bring ideas from the whiteboard to reality. Her leadership acumen, data-focused approach and passion for making a positive impact define her as a resolute leader who instigates change, aligning seamlessly with HealthLock’s mission to revolutionize the healthcare landscape for the better.

Prior to joining HealthLock and inAssist, Jeanine served as a Director and Business Developer at Concannon Business Consulting, where she repeatedly had the highest sales and utilization of all directors. She also held several strategic positions at Toyota Motor Corporation. Her role as the Program Manager for the Enterprise Marketing Database marked a pioneering feat, creating a unified marketing database for all Toyota Motor Sales, USA brands. And as a member of Toyota’s North American Reorganization Committee, she contributed to reorganizing the entire Information Systems department for the company. Further, Jeanine initiated Toyota’s North American Parts Operation Strategy Summit, a model now adopted by Toyota Customer Services. Finally, during her tenure at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, she led a process re-engineering and ERP system enhancement team, exemplifying her proficiency in complex problem-solving and technological application.

Jeanine earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of Arizona.

Exhibiting dedication beyond professional pursuits, Jeanine previously served as a volunteer Project Manager for Sharefest in Los Angeles. She’s also a passionate advocate for animal welfare, having co-founded a dog rescue initiative that saved hundreds of animals.

Health conscious and a self-proclaimed foodie, Jeanine’s personal interests include cooking, nutrition, exercise, wake surfing, exploring new cuisines and reading historical fiction.
